If you accept the banner, PostHog stores an anonymous identifier so repeat visits are recognised as the same browser rather than as new people every time. That is the only cookie this site sets. There is no advertising, no retargeting pixel, and nothing shared with a third-party ad network.

If you never answer the banner, nothing is stored at all. If you decline, no analytics cookie is set and no events are sent — but we do keep a note of the answer itself in this browser's local storage, so that we stop asking. It records only “granted” or “denied”, and clearing your site data removes it.
